Redundancy
If you are concerned about being made redundant you should speak
to your employer and your union as soon as possible.
Employers should follow certain steps and make the process as
fair as possible if making redundancies.
If you are made redundant
If you are made redundant you should register with Jobcentre Plus
as soon as possible to make sure that you receive all available
help. Register and book an appointment with a Jobcentre Plus
advisor by calling 0800 055 6688 or visit your local Jobcentre Plus
office.

Redundancy pay
You should be entitled to statutory redundancy pay if you have
worked for the same employer for at least two years. Redundancy
payments should be made as soon as possible following your last day
of work.
