Housing-related support

Living independently isn't always easy. Getting or keeping a roof over your head can sometimes be a real struggle. If you need help when things go wrong, the Supporting People programme could be just what you need. We can help you to begin, or to keep, a life of independence in a place you can call home.

Providing housing-related support

Supporting People

Supporting People helps people to deal with things like managing debts, making a budget and applying for benefits. It also helps with setting up home, coping with rent arrears and avoiding eviction. When people can live safely in their own home they have a better quality of life and it’s easier for them to do other things like get and keep a job or join in with their local community.

For service providers

This area of our website is for organisations which are, or are interested in, holding a contract with the Kent Supporting People Programme to deliver housing related-support to vulnerable people. It also has information which other people interested in housing-related support may find helpful.
