The Buy with Confidence scheme has been set up in the
South East to help consumers find reputable
traders.
All the businesses on the Buy with
Confidence website have been vetted and approved by
Trading Standards to make
sure that they operate in a legal, honest and fair way. You
can search by business type, name or area.
Alternatively call Consumer Direct
and ask for a list of Buy with Confidence traders to be sent
to you.
Recommend a trader
Have you used a Kent based trader you would recommend to
others? If so please complete our
recommendation form so that we can contact the business and
invite them to apply for membership.
Join the scheme
If you are in business you can
register your interest to join the Buy with
Confidence scheme.
The benefits of joining the scheme include recognition of
your business standards, a place on our Buy with Confidence website
with a link to your own website and access to a mediation service
to help with consumer disputes
The scheme is open to any business with premises in the area
covered by Kent County Council.
Please note that we are unable to accept applications from the
following and suggest you contact the association or awarding
bodies related to your field of expertise.
