Next generation broadband exchange map (PDF, 171k)

This map shows the exchanges where next generation broadband is available or will be in the next twelve months. It also shows our view of which exchanges BT will announce next and where additional funding may be needed.

Next generation broadband offers download speeds of up to 40Mbps based on fibre to the BT street cabinets.

Please note that not every property connected to an exchange will be able to obtain next generation broadband and you should always check with BT before placing an order.

ADSL2+ map (PDF, 170k)

This map shows which exchanges have been upgraded to support ADSL2+ and which exchanges are due to be upgraded over the next few months.

ADSL2+ offers download speeds of up to 24Mbps. However, speeds depend on how far you are from the exchange.

If you are more than about 3km from the exchange then you will see little performance improvement from ADSL2+.
