Long term foster care
Long term foster care is for children who cannot return home and
for whom adoption is not possible. Carers will help them through
their childhood to adolescence, and prepare them for independence.
Long term foster care will help give a child a great sense of
security, stability and confidence. Long term doesn't necessarily
mean the full period of their childhood, but in many cases they may
spend many years with their foster carers.
