Support and advice

Your fostering social worker and social work assistant are here to help you every step of the way.  In addition a range of support services are listed below. 

Telephone support

The out-of-hours telephone advice service is available from 5.00pm to 8.30am.

Support groups

Foster carer support groups meet locally and regularly to provide an opportunity for carers to share experiences, discuss good practice and learn from each other.  Support groups are well established across Kent. We encourage regular attendance at support groups. Details of local Support Groups in your area with contact names and numbers are available from your local fostering team.

Foster Care Quality Service Awards
