Fostering events - come and find out more


foster family walkingKent fostering hold regular information sessions to help people find out more about fostering.

Anyone can come along to discover more and talk to existing Kent foster carers whether thinking about fostering or applying to become a foster carer.


The session is informal and will include a presentation at 7.00pm and provide an opportunity to speak to foster carers and social workers from the fostering service. It provides the chance to ask questions and learn about the support and training that is available to carers.

  • Tuesday 7 February 2012 at College Hall, Dartford Grammar School for Girls, Shepherds Lane, Dartford, Kent. DA1 2NT
  • Wednesday 14 March 2012 at The Ark, Noah's Ark Road, Dover, Kent. CT17 0DD
  • Thursday 19 April 2012 at Castle Connections, Railway Terrace/Wells Road, Queenborough, Kent. ME11 5AY

The information sessions are 7:00pm - 8:30pm, with the presentation commencing at 7:00pm.  There will be an opportunity to meet staff from the Fostering Service and Foster Carers who can tell you about the rewards of being a foster carer.
