Every looked after child must have regular meetings which are
called Looked after Child (LAC) Reviews. In these meetings there
will be discussions about the child's health, education and general
care but also plans for the child's future will be made and
reviewed to make sure that wherever possible children don't stay
looked after unnecessarily.
These meetings are chaired by Independent Reviewing Officers
(IROs). Please visit the Independent
Reviewing Officers webpage for further information.
