Who can have a Family Group Conference?
The Kent Family Group Conference Service provides a group
conference in the following situations:
- If any child is at risk of becoming Looked After by the Local Authority. Referrals
are made by social workers.
- If a child of any age is not attending school and this is
becoming a problem. Referrals are made by Education Welfare Officers, who work with
schools to improve children's attendance
Unfortunately, we cannot accept self-referrals direct from
family members.
