Property Service Desk places all orders for reactive repair works,
which are put into one of the following categories:
Emergency - Contractor to visit site within
four hours and make safe
Urgent - Contractor to visit site within 24
hours and make safe
Routine - Works to be completed within five
days
Category definitions
Emergency:
- health and safety issues
- total loss of power or heating
- total loss of hot or cold water
- leaking roof
- major water leak
- loss of alarm systems
- operational issues with building
- blocked drains
- issues affecting ability to secure site
Urgent:
- door or window failure
- minor electrical and mechanical failures
- minor failure of locks
- minor floor repairs
- loss of ventilation system
Routine:
- minor issues affecting internal walls, external walls, roads,
paths, chimneys and external
boundaries
