Please use the Property Service Desk as your first point of contact for all reactive maintenance issues and queries. The Property Service Desk places all orders for reactive repair works, which are put into one of the following categories:

Emergency - Contractor to visit site within four hours and make safe

Urgent - Contractor to visit site within 24 hours and make safe

Routine - Works to be completed within five days

Category definitions

Emergency:

  • health and safety issues
  • total loss of power or heating
  • total loss of hot or cold water
  • leaking roof
  • major water leak
  • loss of alarm systems
  • operational issues with building
  • blocked drains
  • issues affecting ability to secure site

Urgent:

  • door or window failure
  • minor electrical and mechanical failures
  • minor failure of locks
  • minor floor repairs
  • loss of ventilation system

Routine:

  • minor issues affecting internal walls, external walls, roads, paths, chimneys and external boundaries
