Welcome to the Property Group website. This site will help
you gain an understanding of how the county council organises and
maintains its properties, as well as giving information about the
services we offer.
Kent County Council is one of the largest property owners and
developers in the County. The estate is comprised of a range of
buildings representing the diversity of services offered by the
county council, for example schools, day centres, offices,
libraries, youth and community centres and country parks.
In total the portfolio includes more than 1,400 establishments
with an approximate value of £1,300 million and associated running
costs of circa £74 million per annum.
Property Group is charged with ensuring effective management of
the estate, ensuring existing properties are properly maintained
and that new buildings are designed to fully meet service
needs.
