Trans-European networks

The EU has funding for the development and refurbishment of transport infrastructure designated as part of the trans-European network.

The trans-European transport network (TEN-T) consists of transport infrastructure - road, rail, ports and airports - deemed of European interest because of their contribution to the success of the internal market and sustainable mobility. EU financial support is targeted at improving the interconnection of national networks and the filling in of missing links.
