Environment: LIFE+

The Life+ programme supports projects linked to nature conservation, environmental technology and the communication of environmental matters. These actions are funded through three different strands:

• LIFE+ nature and biodiversity
• LIFE+ environment policy and governance funds innovative or pilot projects that contribute to implementing European environmental policy or that develop innovative policy ideas, technogies and methods
• LIFE+ information and communication funds communication and awareness raising campaigns on environmental, nature protection or biodiversity conservation issues, as well as projects related to forest fire prevention.
