Car boot sales

A licence for occasional sales must be obtained if you wish to hold a temporary market, car boot sale or event.

Written notification of an occasional sale must be sent to the Council at least 21 days in advance, by both the occupier of the premises on which the sale is to take place, and also the person holding the sale.

How to notify us

If you wish to notify us of an occasional sale you can complete the online form. If you prefer you can print out the notification form, complete it and and post it to us.
