Highways and street works

Licences and permits are required for the following works that may protrude/project over a public highway:

• builders skips
• trees and shrubs on highway verges
• scaffolding and building works
• street works
• temporary traffic signals
• light vehicle crossovers
• apparatus (pipes, cables etc)
