Biography

Jennifer qualified in 2001 in private practice at a busy high street practice in London where she continued to build up her knowledge and expertise in family law, as well as housing litigation, property and crime. She joined Kent Legal Services in 2003.

Jennifer is an experienced and committed family lawyer who has focused her career at Kent County Council into the field of child protection, adoption and mental health. Jennifer has worked through the challenging times faced more recently in the area of child protection and the changing face of court procedures and protocols. 

Jennifer has successfully managed high profile cases that have attracted much media attention during her time with Kent.  Her vast experience in this field has enabled her to provide a rapid professional response in relation to such cases, working alongside the police and media, and she has successfully managed to control the release of sensitive material when required. 

Jennifer has substantial experience in areas such as child protection, adoption and mental health, and regularly attends family proceedings courts, county courts and the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

Jennifer enjoys cascading recent case law to the Social Welfare Team to ensure all members are abreast of the updating case law in matters relevant to their work.
