James Pigott is the Principal Solicitor for the Commercial and
Environmental Group which comprises Planning & Highways,
Contracts & Procurement and the Property Team. James qualified
as a solicitor in 1988 and became a partner in a major regional
firm in Kent in 1990. After working in private practice for 20
years he joined KCC in 2009 as leader of the Property Team. He
holds a Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice and
specialises in commercial property and development work acting for
both internal and external clients.
