Selling through influence and persuasion

Introduction

Most smooth and slick sales strategies no longer work; the power of choice lies firmly with the customer. To be effective in today's competitive world, practicing the powers of influence and persuasion is a real must if you are looking to maximise sales. This workshop will explore the latest sales techniques, including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and give you the skills to access and use the customer’s own motivational drivers to convince them to buy.

Objectives

After the workshop participants will:

  • Take away a practical toolkit which can be applied to all areas of sales
  • Be able to apply theory to their own practice in the workplace
  • Understand which technique to apply to each category of sale/potential buyer
  • Understand the value of knowing what their customers need and how best to serve them
  • Be more confident in their sales roles and have greater flexibility of behaviour when selling
  • Be able to use persuasive and influencing language and understand why it works
  • Have a greater sensory acuity and be able to build even better relationship with customers
  • Increase sales and deliver a remarkable service
  • Leave with a personal action plan in order to develop their sales skill-set and enhance success

The workshop includes the following activities; Becoming a sales wizard; why do people say ‘Yes’?; Influence quiz and what language can I use to influence?
