Introduction

Delivering a presentation is one of the most feared tasks. Once the correct tools and techniques are understood and used, fear and anxiety associated with this critical skill can be overcome. These techniques includes; structuring presentations, engaging the audience and understanding your body language. During this lively and interactive course, learners develop their own presentations and apply their learning as they go.

  • Learn how to present as yourself
  • Put together and use a logical structure that gets your message across
  • Use your voice to create an impact
  • Make a big difference with your physiology and non verbal messages
  • Create memorable visuals
  • Reduce your limiting beliefs and barriers
  • Deal with anxiety and fear
  • Start to develop your own presentation toolkit to take away

 

Course content

During this course you will cover:

  • Where am I now? - Your own presentation skills health-check.
  • Preparing to succeed - Using a model of excellence to get your message across effectively.
  • Tools of the trade - Develop new ideas for presenting ideas creatively and memorably, using vocal techniques and the appropriate technology.
  • Engaging the audience - Managing your nerves, how your body language impacts on delivery and building group rapport.
  • Applying the learning - Ensuring that your key messages are sequenced and memorable, and your delivery has impact.

Duration: 1 day

Cost: £220 per delegate
