Introduction
‘Managing Performance Well’ will provide heightened awareness to
managers of the essential skills and knowledge necessary to
positively manage other people to achieve their best performance.
This programme seeks to increase individual managerial competence
for growth and improvement; ensuring managers know and value their
staff.
Objectives
At the end of this programme managers will:
- Understand valuable leadership and performance management
practices.
- Engage with the standards and competencies required to
effectively performance manage staff.
- Set clear objectives and standards, using techniques to develop
performance.
- Identify and deal with issues of under-performance
positively.
- Recognise how to manage good and high performers.

- Understanding performance management principles.
- Developing your directive-style performance management.
- Sustaining high performance employees.
- Action planning.
