Introduction
Register with our CMI Approved Qualification Centre to study for
a qualification that is recognised throughout the UK and
Europe.
This qualification is developed for senior managers who have the
responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective
performance. It requires the manager to focus on the requirements
of implementing the organisation’s strategy.
Candidates will have operational responsibility for substantial
programmes, resources and have a broad span of control as well as
working in a strategic management position. Candidates will have
achieved the Level 5 Diploma – Management and Leadership or
equivalent.
Objectives
This qualification is designed for senior managers, to widen and
update their knowledge and skills in strategic management theory
and practice offering key skills and competencies needed to become
an effective strategic manager.

This programme covers the following topics –
- Personal development as a strategic manager
- Strategic performance management
- Financial management
- Strategic Information management
- Organisational direction
- Organisational change
- Strategic planning
- Human resource planning
- Conducting a strategic management project
This programme consists of workshops, group meetings, open
learning, research and project management. Candidates will be
required to complete 9 written assignments and a project with a
strategic focus.
Duration: One year
Cost: £2525 (split over 2 financial year £1625 yr
1 and £900 yr 2)
