This training course will explore the options available to you
and give you some practical hands on experience with some of these
tools.
Objectives
- Finding out more about how IT can help you
in your retirement
- How to set up a web based email account
and how to use it
- Use search engines, search directories,
wikkis, etc
- How to set up and use a webcam
- Use Skype to connect with other
users—using a webcam and voice or message facilities to keep in
touch with friends/family/colleagues, etc, wherever they may
be
- Understand the term Social Media and how
tools such as Facebook, etc, can be used
