Are you coming up for retirement?

Are you interested in getting the most out of your computer?

  • Setting up a web-based email account
  • Using the Internet
  • Using a webcam
  • Using Skype
  • Learning about social media tools like Facebook and Twitter

 

This training course will explore the options available to you and give you some practical hands on experience with some of these tools.

Objectives

  • Finding out more about how IT can help you in your retirement
  • How to set up a web based email account and how to use it
  • Use search engines, search directories, wikkis, etc
  • How to set up and use a webcam
  • Use Skype to connect with other users—using a webcam and voice or message facilities to keep in touch with friends/family/colleagues, etc, wherever they may be
  • Understand the term Social Media and how tools such as Facebook, etc, can be used
