Excel training - using functions
Introduction
This course is aimed at people who need to further their
knowledge of Excel’s functions. It is essential that people
attending this course are familiar with all the Excel basic
calculations. For example: If statements, Average, Count; as well
as knowledge of relative and absolute addressing, selecting ranges,
etc. (There will be be some recap of the basics). The course is
tutor led and hands on. A series of exercises will mean delegates
gain real learning which can be transferred to the work
environment.

The following functions will be covered:
- Proper
- Left
- Right
- Mid
- Concatenate Count
- Counta
- Countif
- Countblank
- Sumif: If, And, Or
- Nested Ifs
- Network days
- Vlookup
- Use of named ranges and their relevance in formulae
- The rules of calculation, absolute and relative addressing
