E-Type training
Learn to touch type and save up to 10 hours per week!
Introduction
The E-type qualification is accredited and overseen by the
Chartered Institute for IT. It is all about teaching people how to
touch-type, so that they can increase the speed and efficiency at
which they use a computer – thereby improving their confidence when
using a keyboard.
The E-type training course is delivered over three
non-consecutive dates and is tutor led. The training course is
accessible on-line and delegates will need to practise and repeat
the lessons after the first day, and before the second and third
dates using the on-line E-type programme. Delegates will have the
opportunity of taking a formal typing test at either Bronze, Silver
or Gold level, depending on progress and speed.
