Adobe Acrobat (writer) training – v9 Professional
Introduction
This training course is for anyone who wishes to be able to use
Adobe Acrobat to create PDF files from any source. The training
course does not assume any previous experience of Acrobat. This
tutor led training is hands-on and delegates will gain experience
in using Adobe to create and manipulate PDF files. Advice and
guidance given throughout.
The training course will include adding bookmarks; editing and
organising bookmarks; creating links; assigning actions to buttons
and text links using export and print commands; setting options,
creating an index; grouping PDF files together under a single
index; index options; using the index, adding passwords and
encryption to a PDF file, setting options to control access;
digitally signing PDF files, advantages of saving web pages in PDF
format, adding comments and digital signatures. Also included will
be saving PDF files as text in order to copy and paste; extracting
pictures from PDF files, creating interactive forms; editing forms;
making forms available.
Objectives
By the end of the training delegates will be able
to:
- Create effective PDF files from a variety of sources
- Set up and use bookmarks
- Create and use links
- Use various print commands
- Index options
- Saving using various options
