Pool plant foundation certificate

Introduction

This course is designed for all those responsible for school swimming pools. It is recommended to attend this course every three years to up date your training.

Objectives

• This course equips staff to manage swimming pool chemical treatment processes safely and to avoid the hazards and consequences of misuse.

Course Content

• To review current procedures and consider best hygienic practises in managing
  school pools
• Pool water disinfecting - chemical treatment
• Personal and pool hygiene
• Plant and equipment maintenance
• Chemical safety
