Working safely IOSH certificate
Introduction
IOSH Working Safely course is a basic introduction for all
levels of staff who are not health and safety experts. The workshop
will give staff the information they need to keep themselves safe
at work. Managers and team leaders may be interested in attending
IOSH Managing Safely.
Objectives
After the workshop participants will:
- Carry out work activities without risk.
- Identify lines of communication in the workplace.
- Take appropriate workplace precautions.
- Know how and to whom to report accidents, incidents and near
misses.
Course content
IOSH Working Safely will include:
- Machinery Safety
- Chemical Safety
- Legal responsibilities
- Fire precautions
- Accident prevention
- Manual handling
- Working with DSE
