Fire safety awareness
Introduction
Participants will learn how fires are caused, how they can be
prevented and how to deal with an incident, including hands on
experience with fire-fighting equipment. The course is
specifically designed for Fire Wardens.
Objectives
To encourage safe working practices and to enable
participants to respond swiftly in an emergency to remove
themselves and others from danger
Course content
- To highlight the causes and dangers of fire and give
instruction in emergency procedures
- Raising the alarm
- Evacuation procedures
- Hazard identification
- Practical demonstrations of fire extinguishers
Duration: Half day
