Professional witness

Introduction

This course would benefit those that may be required to attend court as a witness.

Objectives

To provide the students with the opportunity to develop their courtroom skills in giving evidence as well as understand the procedures and requirements of a courtroom.

Course content

By the end of this course delegates will:

• know how to provide good written evidence
• be able to improve the content, structure and style of their reports/statements
• feel more confident in the witness box
• know how to plan and prepare to give evidence
• be able to deal effectively with cross-examination
