Prevent doorstep crime - train the trainer

Introduction

Those engaged in training or managing front line staff who attend to, or visit vulnerable, socially excluded and or older persons.

Objectives

To give delegates a tool to raise older people’s awareness and encourage safer doorstep behaviour.

Course content

By the end of this course the delegates will:

  • understand the materials provided to training presenters
  • ensure trainers are aware of the needs and skills of older people
  • trainers will be aware of how to contact and draw their audience
  • understand what is responsible door caller behaviour
