Hate crime awareness

Introduction

This course is suitable for those people who would like a better understanding of hate crime or hate incident.

Objectives

The course particularly focuses on the impact that hate crime has on victims. It highlights the support systems that are available and the importance of reporting incidents.

Course content

By the end of the course the delegates will:

• Be able to use relevant policies and procedures.
• Be able to understand how partner agencies can improve the services for victims through better partnership working.
• Have an understanding of the personal cost to all concerned.
• Share their experiences.
• Explore appropriate actions for reporting and addressing the overall resolution of conflict.
