Counter terrorism - Prevent strategy awareness
Introduction
This course is suitable for Community Safety partners at all
levels.
Objectives
To evaluate partnership working and community engagement –
getting the right people together to understand the challenge and
its context. Consider your role in supporting the prevent agenda.
To consider what is required for an effective action plan.
Course content
By the end of this course delegates will:
- consider changes that may be required to improve the referral
process
- consider the issues that may arise during their normal daily
activities
- be sensitive to community concerns
- know the present UK threat level
- know the county wide contacts and confidential anti-terrorist
hotline
