Our rates and charges for care and support
Charges and rates payable
Kent county council publishes an information booklet containing
all the revised charges and rates, benefit allowances and
assessment guidelines for 2010/11, for all client groups.
Charging for care at home (domiciliary care)
Social services need contributions from service users towards
the cost of services, so that we can continue to help as many
people as possible with the money that is available to us.
Our policy on charging for domiciliary care provides
information for service users, relatives and carers.
Charging for residential care
The rules for charging for residential care are laid down by
national government.
This booklet contains information on these rules and also where
service users, carers and relatives can get further advice.
Benefit Information
It is important that everyone who is entitled to benefits or
help receives all that they are entitled to.
The welfare rights and benefit pages provides
information about financial assessments and advice about
entitlement to welfare benefit.
