Domiciliary care
Domiciliary care can help people with personal care and some of
the practical household tasks that help them to stay at home and be
as independent as possible.
Kent Social Services is keen to help people stay in their own
homes and remain as active and independent as possible.
If you need advice about domiciliary care and you are currently
known to social services you will need to contact your local case
management team, based at one of our local offices.
If you are not yet known to social services you will need to
make a new
referral through Contact Kent.
We make a charge for most of the services they provide as
we need contributions from service users towards the cost of
services, so that we can continue to help as many people as
possible with the money that is available to us. For more
information about the charges we make for domiciliary care you can
view our charging booklet:

You can also view a list of approved providers of domiciliary
care. These are the only eligible providers to tender for a
contract with KCC for domiciliary care services.
