What will a Community Support Service
Provider deliver?
By supporting service users working towards
independent living and mental health recovery, the provider will
deliver the following:
- Support with correspondence
- Budget management
- Encouraging the service user to undertake any
task/activity
- Support service users in arranging appointment
themselves
- Where required support the service user in attending
appointments
- Provide a listening ear
- Is made aware of services in the local community
- Support in attending local mental health day services, service
user groups
- Support in attending education centres to learn new skills
- Given choice of life style
What a Community Service will not
provide?
- Personal care
- Domiciliary services
- Counselling
