Learning disability services

People with a learning disability are entitled to lead their lives like anyone else, with the same aspirations and opportunities as any other citizen.

This is outlined in the Government paper, Valuing People Now, which also estimates that the total number of adults with a learning disability (aged 20 or over) will increase nationally by 8 per cent to 868,000 in 2011 and by 14 per cent to 908,000 by 2021.

Our plans for Kent support Valuing People Now.
