Apply for a disabled parking badge
Important information
Please ensure you have read and understood the following
information before applying for your disabled parking badge.
Please allow at least 8 weeks for your application to be
processed once a fully completed application form and all relevant
documentation has been received. You can apply up to 3 months in
advance.
You can apply for a disabled parking badge online using
Department for Transport's national online
form.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email
confirmation with a reference number on it. Please send a copy of
this email to us, together with all relevant documentation and
payment as outlined in the email.
Alternatively, if you think you meet the eligibility criteria you
can apply for a disabled parking badge by printing our
Blue Badge application form (PDF, 89k) and return a
completed copy to us by post to:

Completing your form
The following items must be sent to us
alongside your completed application form:
- 1 recent passport size photograph.
- a cheque made payable to Kent County Council, for the sum of
£10.
- a copy of a document that confirms your address. This must
be dated within the last 12 months (please see the application
form for more information).
- a copy of a document that proves your identity (please see the
application form for more information).
Further details are provided on the
application form. Failure to enclose all of the above will
result in the form being returned to you. Please also see our
frequently asked questions page.
Please complete the form in either black or blue ink using block
capitals. Please complete all sections relevant to your application
on the form.
If you are completing the form on behalf of someone else, you
may sign the form for them. Please put your relationship to
the applicant in brackets next to your signature.
What you will receive
If you are successful in your application, you
will be sent:
- a Blue Badge
- a time clock
- Department for Transport, LR scheme booklet (which we
strongly recommend you take time to read through and familiarise
yourself with the scheme before using your Blue Badge for the first
time)
- other literature related to the scheme which you may find
useful.
