Disabled parking scheme (Blue Badge)

The Blue Badge scheme allows severely disabled
people and those with mobility problems to park closer to shops and
amenities by displaying the Blue Badge in their car. This allows
them to park in areas within towns and cities that are restricted
to other road users.
.
The administrative centre of Kent County Council’s Blue Badge
scheme is based in Maidstone and it is from here that the badges
are issued to those people found to be eligible.
Medway, Bexley and
Bromley councils run their own Blue Badge schemes.
If you would like a disabled parking bay, you
need to contact your District or Borough
Council who can arrange this for you.
