Kent Supported Employment helps employers to recruit and retain staff with creative solutions and disability training awareness.

  • help you to recruit and retain staff with a disability, by offering creative solutions and support.
  • work with local employers across Kent to help recruit, support and retain the workforce. We enable employers to benefit from skilled motivated staff and reduce recruitment costs.
  • support employers to find the best person for the job. We train staff to support the employee through the development of natural support strategies.

Our free service includes:

  • Accurate skills matching of clients to vacancies.
  • Providing support at interview and inductions.
  • Full health and safety risk assessment with recommendations for adjustments.
  • Job coaching in the work place where necessary.
  • Signposting to funding for reasonable adjustments under the Disability Discrimination Act and training grants.
  • On-going support to assist people to develop in their roles to take on new responsibilities.
  • Support for employers to help retain existing staff with a disability.
