How to use the search
On the online care services directory there are many
different ways in which you can search for the care support or
service you need in Kent.
- Search by Name of care service
If you know the name of a specific care or support service, you can
find out more information about that service by typing in the
service's name and selecting the 'Search' button.
- Search by District
Searching by district allows you to find out what care and support
services are located within the selected district. You can search
by district in two ways:
- List of Districts
Select the downward facing arrow next to the District search
option, select the district you want to find out about from the
list provided and select the 'Search' button.
- Map of District Areas
Alternatively select the 'See map' link to select the area you want
using our interactive map.
Selecting the district you require on the map will pre-populate the
search option by district, you then just have to select the
'Search' button.
- Search by type of service
Select the downward facing arrow next to the 'Type of Service'
search option and select the type of service to get the details of
all of the care services in Kent for your requirements.
To help you select a service that meets your requirements you can
find explanation for the type of service by selecting the further
information button.
- Search by Person's service need
Search for a care service based on the needs of the person who
requires the care service.
Select the downward facing arrow next to the ‘Person’s service
need’ search option, select the option you require from the drop
down list and select the 'Search' button.
- Accepts Kent Card
By ticking the check box next to the ‘Accepts Kent Card’ option you
can view the details of all the care services that accept the Kent
Card.
To find out more information about Kent Card you can select the
information button.
- Postcode Search
Enter your postcode and click the search button to access services
within five miles of your location.
