Adult placements

Vulnerable adults who want to live as part of a family or household can do so with the support of the Adult Placement Scheme.

It is similar to fostering, but is for adults rather than children.

Who can use the scheme?

The scheme can be used by the following:

  • Learning disability
  • Mental health problem 
  • Older people
  • Physical disability
  • Sensory disability
