  • Roles and Relationships - February and March 2011
    Kent County Council (KCC) is changing and there will be new directorates from the start of April. To help make this a successful transition we are holding two additional Roles and Relationships (R&R) meetings for staff.

  • Peer Support Planning workshop - 11 November 2010
    Members of the public and voluntary sector organisations met at a Peer Support Planning workshop, jointly hosted by the Centre for Independent Living in Kent, MCCH, Kent County Council and NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent. They discussed  a radical new system which aims to provide peer support planning.

  • Shaping Later Life in Kent Conference - 24 June 2010
    The Shaping Later Life in Kent Conference is an interactive forum for the public, private and voluntary sectors, as well as representatives for older people living across the county

  • Kent Social Care Expo - 17 June 2010
    If you work in, or you are considering a career in social care then the Social Care Expo is a chance to find out what is happening across Kent.

  • Carers Week 2010 in Kent - 14 to 18 June 2010
    Our mobile gateways will be used by carers organisations to provide information and advice across the county - come and find out more about the support available to carers!

  • Kent Social Care Conference 2010 - 13 April 2010
    The theme for the conference was "Transforming Social Care: Changing the Future Together". Presentations from the 2010 event are available.

  • Kent and Medway Inaugural Conference - 3 March 2010
    The first Kent and Medway Multi-Agency Safeguarding Conference was held at the Kent Police Training College. This innovative event brought together strategic managers and practitioners from a wide section of statutory, private and voluntary partners
