Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Level 2 In Practice

This course builds on the knowledge of MCA Level 1 and provides opportunities for multi-professional discussion on practice issues around the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS).

This course is recommended for all levels of staff in all social and health care organisations involved in complex decision making (or training others in complex decision making).

You should have completed the MCA Level or Stage 1 – Basic Awareness or MCA Training the Trainer courses.

All sessions are 2 consecutive days and run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. Both days must be attended. No lunch will be provided.
