Depirvation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) are designed to protect the interests of vulnerable service users and were introduced into the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Contact the DOLS office to recieve information and guidance on what to do when a deprivation of liberty occurs.

The Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) service helps vulnerable people who lack mental capacity to make difficult decisions.
