Careers and training

There are a range of careers available in the social care sector and each one presents different training opportunities that can benefit your career.

The care staff from Mount Ephraim House in Tunbridge Wells tell us why they decided to work in the social care sector.

How to get started on your career

One of the best ways to start a career in social care is by doing an apprenticeship. Find out more about the apprenticeship schemes available in Kent.

Our care ambassadors are also available to encourage young people to consider a career in care by passing on their experiences of the social care sector.

We also provide further information about becoming a paid Adult Placement Scheme carer and taking someone into your home who is unable to live independently and requires some practical and emotional support.
