The redesign of Kent’s mobile library service is to go ahead, following a six week public consultation.

The proposals are intended to provide a more efficient and effective service at a lower cost to the county council.

The results of the consultation have since been analysed by an independent organisation and KCC’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, Mike Hill, has now decided that the changes should go ahead.
