About us
We are run by Kent County Council Social Services. We have
Resource Houses based in
Ashford,
Deal
and
Dover.
We are informal drop-in centres, for people who are or have
suffered from mental health problems. This can range from the more
serious, such as Bi-Polar or manic depression, and schizophrenia,
to mild depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Every one of these,
can have a major effect on the sufferers life in one way or
another. We are here to help and support people in what they want
to achieve in their life, whether it be going back to or starting
off in work, going to college or attending adult education classes,
even help and support in filling out forms for benefits etc.
There are also two day-support services in
Sittingbourne and
Sheppey. These services are run by
Together,
a mental health voluntary organisation (these links will open in a
new window). |
