Age Concern
Age Concern provides services such as day care and information. Age Concern has its own trading organisation called Age Concern Enterprises and includes an Aid-Call service. Email ron.watkins@ace.org.uk for more information about Age Concern products including Aid-Call personal alarms.

Association of Social Alarms Provider (ASAP)
The Association of Social Alarms Providers (ASAP) is the representative body for the telecare industry within the UK.

Centre for Usable Home Technology (CUHTec)
CUHTec aims to ensure that future home technologies meet social and personal needs. They work in collaboration with users and provide events, training and information on home technologies.

E-Gov Monitor
The E-Gov Monitor website includes a news article about the Department of Health's guidance to councils on using funding made available for implementing telecare projects.

Home Farm Trust (HFT)
HFT is a registered national charity and exists to provide the very best quality of support and care for people with a learning disability, their carers and families.

Home Improvement Agencies / Care and Repair Schemes
Home Improvement Agencies - or 'Care and Repair' schemes - help home owners and private sector tenants across the county who are elderly, disabled or on low incomes, with repairs, improvements or adaptations to their homes. These schemes complement Telecare services.

Integrating Community Equipment Services (ICES)
The ICES website includes an article about new guidance on telecare for local authorities. ICES is a Department of Health funded initiative across health and social care to develop community equipment services in England.

Invicta Telecare
Invicta Telecare remotely provides individuals and organisations with a range of tailor made solutions for telephony technology, including 24 hour monitoring services. Invicta Telecare are one of KCC's Telecare partners.

The Social Alarm and Telecare Association (SATA)
The Social Alarm and Telecare Association encourage and create an open market for social alarm and telecare system. They support the development of open standards within the social alarm and telecare sector.

Telecare Alliance
Telecare Alliance are an independent consultancy that provide impartial advice and support to client organisations about Telecare.

Tunstall

University of Kent - Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS)
The CHSS is a research centre which supports research in the NHS in Kent and Surrey and has a programme of national and international health services research.
