Improvement Agencies / Care and Repair Schemes
Home Improvement Agencies - or 'Care and Repair' schemes - help
home owners and private sector tenants across the county who are
elderly, disabled or on low incomes, with repairs, improvements or
adaptations to their homes. These schemes complement Telecare
services.
Integrating Community
Equipment Services (ICES)
The ICES website includes an article about new guidance on telecare
for local authorities. ICES is a Department of Health funded
initiative across health and social care to develop community
equipment services in England.
Invicta Telecare
Invicta Telecare remotely provides individuals and organisations
with a range of tailor made solutions for telephony technology,
including 24 hour monitoring services. Invicta Telecare are one of
KCC's Telecare partners.
The Social
Alarm and Telecare Association (SATA)
The Social Alarm and Telecare Association encourage and create an
open market for social alarm and telecare system. They support the
development of open standards within the social alarm and telecare
sector.

Telecare Alliance are an independent consultancy that provide
impartial advice and support to client organisations about
Telecare.

Kent - Centre for Health Services Studies (CHSS)
The CHSS is a research centre which supports research in the NHS in
Kent and Surrey and has a programme of national and international
