The monitoring centres ensure that help is at hand 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
If the monitoring
centre receives a call from one of the Telecare sensors in your
home, the trained operators will respond in seconds.
They will have details of your medical conditions, your key
holder contact details, your doctor and other information that
might be relevant.
The operator will be aware of which sensor has triggered the
alert, for example whether it's the lifeline pendant, fall detector
or smoke detector.
They will speak to you using the two way speech function on the
lifeline home unit, and can to speak to you even if you are in a
different room to the lifeline unit.
The monitoring centre operators will act promptly by summoning
the appropriate response if necessary and will remain on the line
with you until help arrives.
