Can I buy Telecare privately?

We have not undertaken any work as yet to work out the potential public demand for this private service, so we are unable at this stage to provide you with additional information. However, KCC is keen to encourage the development of the availability of Telecare to the general public, so please watch this space.

Many monitoring centres will accept private paying clients. When we come across people who would like to benefit from Telecare services but do not have a high enough level of assessed need to qualify for Community Care support (i.e. through the Fair Access to Care criteria), we can signpost people to those services.
